Mobile Deposit Capture
We can accept checks payable to you, drawn on a U.S. bank. We can’t accept checks payable to others or made payable to a business, traveler’s cheques, money orders, foreign checks, substitute checks, returned checks, or postdated or stale dated checks (more than 6 months old).
Other things to keep in mind:
- Deposit up to $5,000 a day. Lower limits may apply for newer accounts.
- There is a $0.50 per item cost – only one check per deposit
- Endorse the check and add:
- Your deposit may be rejected if endorsed incorrectly – Review this in your deposit history.
- Mobile Deposit Only - below your signature.
- ** Please note: All deposits are subject to review and verification prior to approval.
- Deposit your check by 8:45 A.M, 10:45 A.M, 12:45 P.M., 2:45 P.M. CST.
- When you deposit a check before one of the cutofftimes above, you will be able to view the deposit30 minutes after that cutoff time.
- Funds from Mobile Deposits are generally available on the next business day after the day it is received, just like any deposit.
- We recommend securely storing the check for 14 business days, then destroying the original paper check.
The Bank makes no warranties that the Remote Mobile Service will be error free, secure, and uninterrupted – you agree that the use of the Remote Mobile Service is at your own risk and on an “as is” basis.
We reserve the right to deny access to the use of our Remote Mobile Service without prior notice if it is unable to confirm your authority to access the Remote Mobile Service or we believe such action is necessary for security reasons. Please keep your original check until you verify that your deposit is credited to your account.
Chip Enabled Debit Card
Enjoy peace of mind with your chip enabled debit card*. Your chip enabled debit card adds an additional layer of protection during transactions at a chip-enabled terminals. Your new chip card will also work at locations that only accept magnetic strip cards. Rest assured, if your card is ever lost or stolen, you’ll pay nothing for unauthorized purchases.

What is a Digital Wallet?
A Digital Wallet is simply an electronic device... or software program, that stores your payment information. Our card is compatible with several device based digital wallets, including Apple Pay... Google pay... And Samsung Pay. Once added to your compatible device... card transactions can be completed using your devices near field communication technology, which is a short-range wireless communication of only a few centimeters. This allows you to pay for purchases, simply by holding your device near the contactless reader. The device communicates with the reader in an encrypted language... to authenticate the transaction. Compatible Samsung devices also include a magnetic signal... which allows them to work with traditional magnetic stripe terminals as well. Whichever type of digital wallet you may choose... when used with our card... you can be confident knowing your purchases carry the same fraud protections... as if you used your physical card itself. In fact, many digital wallet services... may even offer you extra protections...that help safeguard your information even more.
Real Time Alerts
Real Time Alerts lets you program, set up and view alerts to monitor critical financial information such as account balances, password changes, deposits made, and other banking alerts in real time by email, test, and online. Brunswick State Bank defines the alerts that are available on your account, therefore you may not see all possible alerts. The system displays the following tabs.
Overview
The Overview page displays your active alerts subscriptions on your account. You can view, edit, and delete alerts on your account by using the Overview page. When you select edit, you can change your delivery options.
Alert Options
After setting up your Contact Options, you can create and edit alerts from the Alert Options page. You can view the alerts that we have provided for your account. Then you can select an alert type, the preferred delivery options, and define your alert categories and specify the alerts you want to appear in each category.
Contact Options
To define how you receive alerts, you can select email, text, and online options (Secure Inbox) by using the Contacts Options page.
Secure Inbox
The system displays your alert messages on your Secure Inbox page and on your home page in the Alerts section.
Instant Balance
Checking an account balance is one of the most popular functions for mobile banking users – Instant Balance helps make this process even easier. This is an optional feature that allows users to view their account balance without needing to login.
- Up to six account balances can be shown per user
- To enable, each user must opt in
- On the More Tab in Mobiliti - select Instant Balance
